Nature may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of NYC, but I’ve always found and photographed it here. During the Covid lockdown in Brooklyn, I felt a deep need to seek beauty in my surroundings. This led me to focus on the plants and flowers in the city's neighborhoods and parks. Through this process, I came to see them as a reflection of the city itself—highlighting both their unexpected beauty and the essential role of nature in urban life.
